Impossible to read when speed is 30 or more. It starts good but suddenly it accelerates. Im frustrated. Another thing is that you cant zoom or bright as on regular iPad cam.

Even with Maximum script length unlimited it stops the recording before the ending of my 4 minute script. And in the photos appers a vidro with a few seconds. Whats hapening? I want my money back.

You cant import scripts. Why?

App does not work as promised and developer does not support you. Does not import scripts, making the app totally useless. I bought a competitor app at 3 times the price with no problems and great support. Thank goodness there are still some people that operate with credibility. Joe Allen is not one of them.

I have rated this with one star only because I have to in order to post a review. At first glance, this looked like a great app for a project my daughter had for school. However, after HOURS of attempts AND searches, none of the recordings we did could be found ANYWHERE on our iPad. BEYOND frustrating, and have sent an email to get refunded my $7.99...well see?!

I am so happy to have found this app! Its super useful and really ends the need for me to prop scripts up beside my iPad! Great app. No bugs or issues. Works as described!

This is the best Teleprompter app for recording video so far. That being said it doesnt work very well and can be extremely frustrating. I use it on a weekly basis and I can put a script in, tweak the scrolling to get the timing right, then put another script in formatted the exact same way and the timing of the scrolling will be way off. Adjusting the timing of the scrolling is very difficult and makes large jumps suddenly and doesnt seem to make any small differences. Also, the developer is happy to spam you with promotional emails but will not respond to any inquiries about the product. That, and any updates he makes will not apply to the version you have, you will need to buy the new version in order to get the updates. He says something different but thats not how it actually works.

Theres not even a place to be Jen to describe how horrible this app is. Theres no import button as described so its false advertising and I will be writing to Apple to get my money back.

I just recorded an entire video series for my business using this app and my ipad. It took me about 1 minute to figure out how to use it, another minute of practice to match the teleprompter speed to my voice speed, and the proximity of the script to the camera results in a video that doesnt have eye shifting -- youre right there, looking at your audience. The app doesnt have lots of bells and whistles, but I dont want them anyway -- I like a straightforward app that does what is says it does, does it well, and doesnt require tons of time to learn. Video Teleprompter really delivered for me on this and Im glad I selected it from among the options.

What a waste of money! It doesnt even save the videos!

I dont normally write reviews on apps, but this one warrants a second review. After finally figuring out that I can import a .txt document from DropBox into this app, unlike the .doc that is supposed to be supported in the description, I now find that It doesnt record the video. This is pretty much a worthless app. Id expect this from a free app, but not an app that you must pay to use. Im using iOS 9, so buyer beware. Also, I havent heard anything from the support site addressing this issue.

Its a great concept, but the interface is terrible. It will only record for a few seconds, often doesnt even record or save the video and when you go to record again, the Teleprompter speeds up insanely fast. I wish I had read the reviews or that I could get a refund. DO NOT BUY.

I am having a problem with recording my video longer than 50 seconds. I specifically bought this version to be able to record videos for as long as 5 min. I did not have this problem at first but it seems to be cutting it off now, which is very frustrating.

No more expensive cameras or Teleprompter equipment to buy. This saves time and money!

The reviewer below is correct. The video area needs to be smaller and the text panel larger. Also the text panel on the side splits words in half making them weird to read. Also for some reason you can only load one script at a time and there is no option to save. That need to be fixed immediately for this to be a good app.

I downloaded the app the day it was released; I tried to find my test saves with no avail. There was an iOS update to 8.4.1 Performed that with hopes of being able to save to Photos app as indicated automatically via end of recording. Still no avail. •reset all settings on phone; nothing. •deleted/re-downloaded app; nothing •I enjoy the app prospects compared to what Ive used before...but I can not find my recorded footage.

I recorded a small video and then it said it was saved to my photos. I went to the photos area but it wasnt there. Would somebody know why that is?

After spending a lot of time with this app, I went back to his older product - Teleprompter Premium. It has LOTS of room for text with just enough video window to make sure you’re aligned with the camera. That’s all you need. I can’t figure out why he did this one with so little room for text (uh, this IS a teleprompter, right?) yet so much room for the camera window, which is useless unless you’re just enjoying watching yourself. Lol. Again, I LOVE his other app, Teleprompter Premium!

This app does the job very well. Unlike others Im not concerned with the size of the text window. The reason? Because once youve actually used it you realize that the width of the window keeps your eyes from appearing to move back and forth as you read. If you were to have to read lines along the entire width of your iPad, it would be obvious to viewers (unless youre about 5+ feet away). This app doesnt present you with that issue. Try the lite version and pay close attention to how little your eyes appear to move back and forth. After all, if people can tell youre reading youre wasting your time. I do wish you could save scripts inside the app, but other than that the app works fine as is.
